How do I do presenter view in PowerPoint?

To use presenter view in PowerPoint, follow these steps:

  1. Connect a second display to your computer. This could be a projector, a second monitor, or a TV.
  2. Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to present.
  3. Click the “Slide Show” tab in the ribbon.
  4. Click the “Set Up Slide Show” button in the “Set Up” group.
  5. In the “Set Up Show” window, select the “Browsed by an individual (window)” option.
  6. Check the “Use Presenter View” box.
  7. Click “OK”.
  8. Click the “Slide Show” tab in the ribbon again, and then click the “From Beginning” button in the “Start Slide Show” group to start the presentation.

Presenter view will display on the second display, while the audience will see the regular slide show on the main display. Presenter view includes a number of useful tools, such as a timer, a notes pane, and the ability to move to the next or previous slide. You can use presenter view to control the presentation and see the notes for each slide while presenting.
