How can I set up PowerPoint to automatically play slideshows?

Setting up PowerPoint to automatically play your slideshows is quite straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation and click on the “Slide Show” tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  2. Under the “Set Up” group, click on the “Set Up Slide Show” option. A dialogue box named “Set Up Show” will appear.
  3. In the “Show options” section, make sure the “Loop continuously until ‘Esc'” is unchecked unless you want your slideshow to loop indefinitely.
  4. In the “Advance slides” section, select the “Using timings, if present” option. This will allow your slides to advance automatically according to the timings you’ve set.
  5. Click “OK” to save your changes and close the dialogue box.

To set the time each slide should display, follow these steps:

  1. Select the slide you want to set the timing for.
  2. Click on the “Transitions” tab in the ribbon.
  3. In the “Timing” group, under “Duration”, set the time you want the slide to display for. Repeat this for each slide in your presentation.
  4. Once you’re done, remember to save your presentation.

Now your PowerPoint presentation should play slides automatically according to the timings you’ve set. If you want to play your slideshow immediately, simply go to the “Slide Show” tab and click on “From Beginning”.
