- Right-click on the Picture: Right-click on the selected picture and choose Format Picture.
- Format Pane: The Format Picture pane will appear on the right side. Click on the Size & Properties icon (looks like a square with measurements).
- Rotation: Under the Size section, you’ll find the Rotation option. You can enter the exact degree of rotation (e.g., 90° to rotate the picture to the right).
-
Using the Ribbon:
- Go to the Picture Format or Format tab on the ribbon (this appears when you select the picture).
- In the Arrange group, click on Rotate.
- Choose one of the rotation options: Rotate Right 90°, Rotate Left 90°, Flip Vertical, or Flip Horizontal.
Tips for Effective Rotation:
- Exact Rotation: For precise rotation, use the rotation options in the Format Pane to enter the exact angle.
- Consistency: Ensure all pictures are aligned and rotated consistently if they are part of a sequence.
- Aspect Ratio: Maintain the aspect ratio while rotating to avoid distortion.
