1. Insert the picture you want to make transparent onto a slide.
2. Select the picture, and a new “Picture Tools” tab will appear in the PowerPoint ribbon.
3. Click on the “Format” tab within the “Picture Tools” tab.
4. In the “Adjust” group, click on the “Recolor” dropdown menu.
5. Select “Set Transparent Color” from the dropdown menu.
6. Click on the color in the picture that you want to make transparent.
7. Voila! The selected color will now be transparent in your picture.
