Creating a PowerPoint presentation with audio on a mobile device involves a few simple steps. Please note that the process might slightly differ based on the type of mobile device you’re using (iOS or Android).
For iOS Devices:
- Open the PowerPoint app and select the slide where you want to add audio.
- Tap the ‘Insert’ tab and choose ‘Audio’.
- If you’re prompted, give PowerPoint permission to access your music library.
- Select the audio file you want to insert from your library.
- The audio icon will appear on the slide. You can tap on it to play the audio.
For Android Devices:
- Unfortunately, the PowerPoint app for Android doesn’t support adding audio files. You can only play presentations that already have audio embedded. If you need to add audio, you’ll have to use a desktop version of PowerPoint and then save and transfer the file to your Android device.
Keep in mind that the PowerPoint mobile app doesn’t support all audio file formats. MP3 and WAV are the most commonly supported formats. Once you’ve added audio, you can also customize how and when it plays, such as setting it to start automatically when the slide opens.
Creating a PowerPoint presentation with audio can make your slides more engaging and interactive. Just make sure the audio enhances your presentation instead of distracting from it.
