How can I create a master slide in Keynote for my presentation design?

Creating a master slide in Keynote is a great way to maintain consistency throughout your presentation design. Follow these steps to create your own master slide:

  1. Open Keynote and go to your presentation. If you’re starting a new presentation, choose a theme.
  2. Go to the top menu and select View, then Edit Master Slide. This will open the master slide view.
  3. In the left sidebar, you’ll see a list of master slide layouts. Scroll to the bottom and click the Add Slide button. This will create a new master slide, which you can customize according to your needs.
  4. Now you can add, remove or edit objects on the slide. You can also adjust the background color, add text boxes, shapes, lines, media files, and more. Remember, changes you make here will apply to all slides using this master slide.
  5. When you’re done designing your master slide, click Done at the bottom of the screen.

Now, whenever you add a new slide to your presentation, you can choose your custom master slide as the layout. To do this, click Add Slide in the toolbar, then choose your master slide from the list.
