How can I convert my PowerPoint presentation into a video with animations?

Converting your PowerPoint presentation into a video while retaining all animations and transitions is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you do it:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Click on the “File” menu at the top left corner of your PowerPoint window.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select “Export”.
  4. Under the “Export” menu, click on “Create a Video”.
  5. Choose the video quality you prefer. Remember that higher video quality will result in a larger file size. The options available are “Ultra HD (4K)”, “Full HD (1080p)”, “HD (720p)”, and “Standard (480p)”.
  6. Next, choose whether you want to use recorded timings and narrations. If your presentation includes recorded timings, narrations, or ink, select “Use Recorded Timings and Narrations”. If you want the video to play without any pauses between slides, select “Don’t Use Recorded Timings and Narrations”.
  7. Next, specify the number of seconds to spend on each slide. This setting is only applicable if you chose “Don’t Use Recorded Timings and Narrations”.
  8. Click “Create Video”, choose a location to save the video, and then click “Save”.

PowerPoint will start converting your presentation into a video. Depending on the size and complexity of your presentation, this process can take a few minutes to complete. Once done, you’ll have a video file that retains all the animations, transitions, and timings from your presentation.

Please note that the steps and options may vary slightly depending on the version of PowerPoint you are using.
