  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation and go to the slide where you want to add the background picture.
  2. Click on the “Design” tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
  3. In the “Background” group, click on the “Background Styles” button.
  4. From the drop-down menu, select “Format Background.”
  5. In the Format Background pane, choose the “Picture or texture fill” option.
  6. Click on the “File” button to insert a picture from your computer, or choose from the available options in the “Online Pictures” or “Clip Art” sections.
