How can I create a template using Google Slides?

Creating your own custom template in Google Slides is an easy and straightforward process. Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Open Google Slides. You can do this by going to your Google Drive, clicking on ‘New’ in the top left corner, hovering over ‘Google Slides’, and then clicking on ‘Blank Presentation’.
  2. Once you’ve opened a new presentation, design your template. This can include creating a specific color scheme, choosing a font, and adding any images, logos, or graphics that you would like to be part of your template. Remember, anything you put on this slide will be part of your template, so design it with care.
  3. When you’re happy with your design, click on ‘File’ in the top menu, then ‘Save as Google Slides template’. Give your template a name and click ‘Save’.
  4. Your new template is now available for you to use in Google Slides. To use it, simply create a new presentation, click on ‘File’ in the top menu, hover over ‘New from template’, and then select your template from the list.

Keep in mind that Google Slides templates are only available to you. If you want to share your template with others, you’ll need to share the original presentation file and instruct them to save it as a template themselves.

Creating custom templates can save you time and ensure consistency in your presentations. Happy designing!
