To create boxes in PowerPoint for your presentation, follow the steps below:
- Open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the slide where you want to add a box.
- Go to the “Insert” tab on the ribbon located at the top of the screen. Click on the “Shapes” button. This will open a dropdown menu with a variety of shapes that you can choose from.
- Select the “Rectangle” shape from the menu. Your cursor will turn into a crosshair symbol.
- Click and drag your cursor on the slide to create a box. You can adjust the size of the box by dragging the corners or sides. Release the mouse button when you’re satisfied with the box’s size and shape.
- Once you’ve created the box, you can customize it further using the “Format” tab that appears on the ribbon. You can change the box’s color, outline, and other attributes from this tab.
Remember, consistency in design can make your presentation more professional. So, try to keep the same style and color scheme for all the boxes in your presentation. Additionally, keep the amount of text inside each box balanced to ensure your slides don’t look overcrowded.
