- Open PowerPoint and select the presentation that you want to make standalone. If you’re starting from scratch, create your slides and add all necessary content.
- Go to the ‘Slide Show’ menu at the top of the screen, then select ‘Set Up Slide Show’ from the dropdown menu.
- In the ‘Set Up Show’ dialog box that appears, under ‘Show type’, select ‘Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)’. This will allow your presentation to run full screen and automatically, and it will also prevent the viewers from making changes.
- If you want your slides to advance automatically, you will need to set up timings for your slides. To do this, go to the ‘Transitions’ tab, set the timing under the ‘After’ option, and then click ‘Apply To All’. This will apply the same time setting to all your slides.
