Setting a white background for your PowerPoint presentation is a simple and straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to change your PowerPoint presentation’s background to a white color:
- Open your PowerPoint presentation: If you’re starting a new presentation, launch PowerPoint and select ‘New Presentation’. If you’re modifying an existing one, navigate to ‘File’ > ‘Open’ and select the presentation you’d like to change.
- Select the slide: Click on the slide thumbnail in the left navigation pane for which you want to change the background. To apply the change to all slides, press ‘Ctrl+A’ on your keyboard to select all slides.
- Open the Format Background options: Navigate to the ‘Design’ tab on the ribbon, click on ‘Format Background’. This will open a panel on the right-hand side of your screen.
- Change the background color: In the ‘Format Background’ panel, click on ‘Solid fill’. Then, click on the ‘Color’ button and choose white, which is usually the first option.
- Apply to all slides: If you want to apply this change to all slides, click on the ‘Apply to All’ button at the bottom of the ‘Format Background’ panel.
