Transforming PowerPoint presentations into notes can be a great way to provide additional information and context to your audience. Here are the steps to do it:
- Open your PowerPoint presentation.
- Click on the “View” tab on the ribbon at the top of the screen.
- Select the “Notes Page” option. This will display a page view of each slide along with a corresponding notes section.
- For each slide, you can click in the notes area and start typing. You can add as much detail as you need.
- When you’re done adding notes, save your presentation.
If you want to print your slides and notes, follow these steps:
- Click the “File” tab on the ribbon and select “Print.”
- Under “Settings,” select “Full Page Slides” and a drop-down menu will appear.
- From the drop-down menu, choose “Notes Pages” to print your slides along with your notes.
- Click “Print.”
Remember, the notes you create will only be visible in the “Notes Page” view or in the “Presenter View” if you’re giving a presentation. They won’t be visible in the normal slideshow view. Use these notes to provide additional information, explain complex ideas, or even as a script if you’re giving a presentation.
