Setting up automatic playback for your Google Slide presentation is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:
- First, open your Google Slide presentation.
- Next, click on “File” at the top left corner of the screen.
- From the dropdown menu, select “Publish to the web”.
- In the new window that appears, click on the “Auto-advance slides” dropdown menu.
- You will see several options for slide transition times. Select the one that best suits your presentation needs. Options range from every second to every minute. If you want your slides to advance automatically, it’s best to choose a reasonable time frame that allows your audience to absorb the information on each slide.
- After selecting your preferred transition time, click “Start slideshow” to begin your presentation. The slides will now progress automatically according to the time you’ve set.
Note: If you want your presentation to loop continuously, check the box next to “Restart the slideshow after the last slide”. This is particularly useful for presentations displayed in a loop at exhibitions, trade shows, or similar events.
Remember, while auto-advancing your slides can be helpful, it’s essential to consider your audience’s needs and your presentation context. If you’re delivering a live speech, you might want to control the slide transitions manually to match your speaking pace and audience engagement.
