How can I print an outline of my presentation?

To print an outline of your presentation in PowerPoint, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Click on the ‘View’ tab located at the top of your screen.
  3. In the ‘Presentation Views’ group, click on the ‘Outline View’ option. This will display your presentation as an outline in the left panel.
  4. Go to the ‘File’ tab and click on ‘Print’.
  5. Under ‘Settings’, click on the first drop-down menu (the one that probably says ‘Full Page Slides’).
  6. A list of options will appear. Scroll down and select ‘Outline’. This will ensure that only the text of your slides is printed, not any images or graphic elements.
  7. Click on the ‘Print’ button to print your outline.

Note: Only text placed within the text placeholder will be shown in the outline view and printed. Text within shapes, text boxes, or tables will not be visible in the outline view.

Also, remember that the outline view is an excellent tool to manage and organize the content of your presentation. It enables you to focus on your points and subpoints, making sure your argument flows logically.
