Editing your PowerPoint presentations online has been made easy with the advent of Microsoft Office 365. This cloud-based software allows you to modify your slides anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Go to the Microsoft Office website and sign in to your account. If you do not have one, you can create it for free and get access to limited features, or subscribe to Office 365 for full access.
- Once you’ve signed in, navigate to PowerPoint Online from the Office applications list.
- On the PowerPoint Online interface, click on “Open” if your file is stored in OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams. If your file is on your local storage, select “Upload a Presentation”.
- Find and select your PowerPoint file to open it in the online editor.
- You can now make changes to your presentation. The toolbar at the top of the screen provides you with a variety of editing tools, similar to the desktop version of PowerPoint.
- Once you’re done editing, your changes will be saved automatically if your file is in OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams. If the file is from your local storage, click on “File” then “Save As” to download your edited presentation.
