To create your own theme in Google Slides for a unique and personalized presentation design, you need to follow a few steps:
Step 1: Open Google Slides
Start by opening Google Slides. If you’re already logged into your Google account, simply go to slides.google.com. If you’re not logged into your account, you’ll first need to do so.
Step 2: Start a New Presentation
You can start a new presentation by clicking on the “+ Blank” button or you can open an existing presentation and change its theme.
Step 3: Open the Theme Builder
Click on “Slide” in the upper menu, then select “Change theme…” from the dropdown menu. This will open the Theme Builder.
Step 4: Create a New Theme
At the bottom of the Theme Builder, click on “Import theme”. You can now select a file from your computer or from your Google Drive. This file will serve as the basis for your new theme.
Step 5: Customize Your New Theme
After importing the file, you can further customize your new theme by changing backgrounds, colors, fonts, and other elements. You can do this by clicking on “View” in the upper menu, then selecting “Master” from the dropdown menu. This will open the Master Slide, where you can make all your customizations.
Step 6: Apply Your New Theme
Once you’re satisfied with your new theme, click on the “X” in the upper right corner of the Master Slide to close it. Your new theme will now be applied to your presentation.
