How can I create an automatic slideshow in Google Slides?

You can create an automatic slideshow in Google Slides by following these steps:

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation.
  2. Click on “File” in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select “Publish to the web”.
  4. In the “Publish to the web” pop-up window, select the “Auto-advance slides” dropdown menu. Here, you can set the time for each slide to be displayed before moving on to the next one. You can choose intervals ranging from every 1 second to every minute.
  5. Click “Start slideshow after” if you want to set a delay before your slideshow begins.
  6. Click “Restart the slideshow after the last slide” if you want your slideshow to loop back to the beginning after the last slide.
  7. When you’re happy with your settings, click “Publish”. A link will be generated, which you can use to share your automatic slideshow.

Remember, these settings only apply to the published version of the slideshow. If you want to set automatic transitions while editing or presenting within Google Slides, you’ll need to set the transition timings individually for each slide.

Three overlapping slides are displayed. The first slide reads "American Express Investor Day 20XX." The second slide has "Today's Discussion." The third features a man reading and mentions, "Service is the Core of Our Global Program" and "Custom PowerPoint Presentation Design Support.
