Creating a self-running PowerPoint presentation can be an effective way to deliver your message without having to manually navigate through the slides. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can do it:
- Open Your PowerPoint Presentation: Start by opening the PowerPoint presentation you want to set to run automatically.
- Go to the Slide Show Tab: Once your presentation is open, navigate to the ‘Slide Show’ tab in the PowerPoint toolbar.
- Select Set Up Slide Show: In the ‘Slide Show’ tab, click on ‘Set Up Slide Show’. This will open a dialog box with several options.
- Choose Browsed at a Kiosk (Full Screen): In the ‘Set Up Show’ dialog box, under the ‘Show type’ section, select ‘Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)’. This option will let your presentation run on a loop until the viewer exits the presentation.
- Set Automatic Slide Transitions: If you want each slide to advance automatically after a certain period, go to the ‘Transitions’ tab and set the duration under ‘After’. Ensure the ‘On Mouse Click’ option is unchecked so that the slides won’t change with mouse clicks.
- Save Your Presentation: Finally, save your settings by clicking ‘OK’ in the ‘Set Up Show’ dialog box. Your PowerPoint presentation will now run automatically.
