How can I add presenter notes to my PowerPoint presentation?

You can easily add presenter notes to your PowerPoint presentation by following these steps:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation: Double-click the PowerPoint file or open PowerPoint and select the file from the ‘Open’ option under the ‘File’ tab.
  2. Select the slide: In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide you want to add a note to.
  3. Click on ‘Notes’: At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a section labeled ‘Click to add notes’. Click this section.
  4. Add your note: A text box will appear. You can type your notes here. These notes will not be visible to the audience during your presentation but are available for you to see in Presenter view or if you print your slides with notes.
  5. Save: Don’t forget to save your presentation regularly, especially after adding or changing notes to ensure you don’t lose your work.

Keep in mind that presenter notes are a tool for you to use during your presentation. They should be concise, easy to read, and only include the most important points. This will help you stay on track during your presentation without overwhelming you with information.

If you want to view your notes while you present, you can use the Presenter View. To do this, go to the ‘Slide Show’ tab, and in the ‘Monitors’ group, select ‘Use Presenter View’. You will see your notes on your computer, but the audience will only see the slide.
