A template built for people teaches a model almost nothing
Copilot learns from the sample slides, placeholders and theme definitions inside your template. Most corporate templates have none of them in a usable form: colors hardcoded instead of theme-linked, text boxes instead of placeholders, and no examples to learn from. The file can look immaculate and still produce generic decks.
That is what SlideGenius Presentation Systems fixes. We have spent fifteen years designing corporate presentations. Now we design the templates, example slides and rules that decide what your team’s Copilot produces.
Everything you need to know before you start
How SlideGenius Presentation Systems works
Audit
We score your actual template against Microsoft’s published guidance and show you where it stands, with findings in priority order and a recommendation.
Build
We rebuild the theme and layouts, design the example slides that show Copilot your visual language, write the rules file, assemble your Brand Kit, and test it against real prompts.
Roll out
With your brand manager, we publish the Brand Kit, turn on strict brand adherence, and check that the template reaches the people who use it. Done for you or guided on a call.
Oversight
Every quarter we re-run the tests, review what your people actually generated, refresh the examples, update the rules, and report in writing.
The whole engagement at a glance
Four steps in order, with typical durations, and where your team takes part.
Add a Brand & Presentation Hub
Built on Microsoft SharePoint
Ready for Microsoft 365 Copilot
One SharePoint site for your brand and every presentation: your current PowerPoint, Word and Excel templates, approved images, brand rules, Copilot help, training on your own templates, and a direct line to our designers. A main site for everyone, plus a members-only site for each team. Hosted and run by SlideGenius, on our SharePoint.
What a client’s hub looks like
Each hub is built in the client’s own brand: their logo, colors and type. Here is one for a healthcare company, with a main site for everyone and a members-only site for each of three teams.
Calvenna Health is a fictional company; the names on these screens are made up.
$9,500 for the first brand, one-time. +$3,500 for each additional brand or team site. Your templates still reach PowerPoint and Copilot through the package your admin loads; the hub is where your people find them, learn them and get help.
Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Copilot, PowerPoint and SharePoint are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
What we commit to
We commit to conformance with Microsoft’s published guidance, testing with real prompts against your own template, and correcting what drifts, every quarter, because Copilot is a third-party model that Microsoft changes without notice. If our work does not reduce what a person has to fix afterwards, it has not earned its fee.
Questions you may have
Can’t our IT team just configure this?
They can, and it takes an afternoon. The settings are the easy half. What teaches Copilot your brand is a body of example slides designed well enough for a model to learn from. That is design work, and it is the half a configuration tool cannot do.
How do you keep our decks on brand?
We commit to conformance with Microsoft’s published guidance, testing on your own template with real prompts, and correcting what drifts, and we write that into the contract. Copilot is a generative model that Microsoft changes without notice, so we test again every quarter.
What does this mean for our design team?
Your team stops producing routine internal decks and gets the strategic work back. Your designers approve the example slides that Copilot learns from.
Why quarterly? Isn’t it a one-time build?
Microsoft shipped two changes to this in September 2026 alone. Templates drift as teams add slides and new uses appear. A system nobody revisits is materially worse a year later, and the drift is invisible until someone sends the deck. How oversight works.
What if we present in Google Slides or Keynote?
Then this is not for you, and we will say so on the first call. We would still be glad to design the presentations that matter.
What access do you need to our Microsoft 365 tenant?
None by default. We work through your named brand manager under your own access rules, and we do not hold credentials. Settings are locked centrally, so staff cannot override them.
Does it work in Word and Excel?
PowerPoint is where Copilot follows your Brand Kit’s template. For Word and Excel we build brand templates as add-ons ($600 each), in the same colors, fonts and logo, which your people open directly. Copilot in Word has no brand selection today, and Copilot in Excel restyles the tables it creates.
Will Copilot use our photos and icons?
Add your approved photos to the Brand Kit; without them, Copilot picks stock images of its own. The Brand Kit also stores your icons, but Copilot does not place them on slides.
Have your template scored
Send us the file. You will get a scored review against Microsoft’s guidance and a recommendation. Engagements start with a fixed-price audit.
