FAQ

How can I merge multiple PowerPoint presentations into one?

Combining multiple PowerPoint presentations into one can be a straightforward process if you follow the correct steps. Here’s a detailed guide to help you accomplish this task:

Step 1: Open your main PowerPoint presentation

Start by launching PowerPoint and opening the presentation that you want to add other presentations into. This will serve as your main presentation.

Step 2: Navigate to the slide where you want to insert another presentation

Scroll through your main presentation and stop at the slide after which you’d like to insert another presentation.

Step 3: Import other presentations

Select “New Slide” from the “Home” tab, then click on “Reuse Slides” from the drop-down menu. In the “Reuse Slides” panel that opens on the right side of the window, click on “Browse,” then select “Browse File.” Locate and select the PowerPoint presentation you wish to merge. Check the box that says “Keep source formatting” if you want to maintain the formatting of the original slides.

Step 4: Insert all slides

Click on “Insert All Slides” to add all slides from the selected presentation to your main presentation. Alternatively, you can click on individual slides in the “Reuse Slides” panel to add them one by one.

Step 5: Repeat for all presentations

Repeat Steps 2 to 4 for each PowerPoint presentation you wish to merge into your main presentation.

Step 6: Save your combined presentation

Once you’ve imported all the slides you want, click on “File,” then “Save As” to save your newly combined presentation.

Please note that this guide is intended for PowerPoint 2016 and later. If you’re using an older version of PowerPoint, the steps may vary slightly.
