Our Process

Presentation expertise and the admin setup, from one team

IT consultancies can switch the Copilot settings on, but they cannot design the template and example slides that make the output good. Most design agencies cannot do the admin setup. We do both, and every step below follows the method we used to build and test our own Copilot-ready system first.

How SlideGenius Presentation Systems works

Audit

We run a copy of your template through our checklist: theme colors and fonts, layout names and types, layout coverage, placeholders against loose text boxes, example slides, speaker notes and file weight. With your brand book, we check the template against it too. You get the findings in priority order (fix first, before launch, tidy), the reason each one matters for Copilot, a proposed layout plan and a recommendation. No usable template yet? We start your Brand Kit from your brand book, your website, or a deck you send us. See a sample audit report.

Build

We rebuild the theme, layouts and placeholders to Microsoft’s guidance, so a model can read the file, not only a person. We clear production clutter, consolidate duplicate layouts, and add the purpose layouts Copilot needs: agenda, chart, table, columns, image and text, team, process, closing. Our designers create the example slides that show Copilot your visual language, with real content. We write the rules file, assemble your Brand Kit section by section, and test against a fixed set of prompts until the output stops needing fixes. Word and Excel templates in your brand are add-ons too.

Roll out

Licenses, brand manager, policy, publishing the Brand Kit, strict brand adherence and template settings: done for you or guided on a call. We check that the template reaches the people who use it, and that they have a start file, because Copilot will not build in a blank file with strict brand adherence on. Your IT team deploys the brand fonts if you want them used.

Oversight

Every quarter we re-run the tests, review what your people actually generated, refresh the examples, update the rules, and send a written report. Your part is about 1½–2 hours a quarter: recent Copilot decks for us to review, any brand changes, approving refreshed examples, uploading the updated files to your Brand Kit, and the review call. How oversight works.

What this means for the people involved

For your design team: you stop producing routine internal decks and get the strategic work back. We ask you to approve the example slides, because they are what Copilot learns from.

For IT: settings are locked centrally, staff cannot override them, we work through a named brand manager under your access rules, and we do not need to hold credentials.

Questions you may have

Where does an engagement start?

With a fixed-price audit of your current template. It gives you evidence rather than an opinion, so you can decide what to do next.

Can our IT team do the settings themselves?

Yes, and it takes an afternoon. We can guide them on a call. The design half, the template and example slides, is what we add.

Do you need admin access to our Microsoft 365 tenant?

No. By default we guide on a screen share while your people click, and we do not hold credentials.

Who approves the example slides?

Someone on your side, usually your design team. They are the teaching material for Copilot, so the people who own your brand should sign them off.

What if we don’t have a usable template?

We start your Brand Kit from your brand book, your website, or a deck you send us.

Do you change our original template file?

No. We always work on a copy.
