Adding text to your PowerPoint presentation is a straightforward process. Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the slide where you want to add the text.
- Click on the “Insert” tab from the menu at the top of the screen.
- From the drop-down menu, select “Text Box”. Your cursor will now turn into a crosshair.
- Click and drag on the slide to create the text box. The size and shape of the box can be adjusted according to your requirements.
- Once the box is created, start typing inside it. The text will appear as you type.
- Use the “Home” tab to adjust the font style, size, color, and other text properties.
Remember, you can also add text to your slides using pre-formatted title and content boxes that come with each template. To do this, simply click inside the boxes that say “Click to add title” or “Click to add text” and start typing.
